Our Vision

Cosy Cloud is at the forefront of a mindfulness and meditation movement across Wales and the UK. Our vision is to help create happier, more confident and capable children and young adults by spotlighting and strengthening their mental health.

In addition, by providing meditations in both Welsh and English language we aim to help improve children’s mental wellbeing, promote positive self-management and to ultimately help them fulfil their potential.

“My hope is that every child has the opportunity to discover a little more calm, confidence and connection within themselves. If we can give children the tools to pause, reflect and understand their emotions from an early age, we’re giving them something they can carry with them for the rest of their lives. That is the heart of Cwmwl Clyd.”

Siwan Reynolds, Founder, Cwmwl Clyd

About the Founder…

Siwan Reynolds is the founder of Cwmwl Clyd and a qualified meditation teacher (Ofqual accredited) from Wales, UK. With a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a lifelong passion for education and emotional wellbeing, she has dedicated her career to helping children flourish both inside and outside the classroom.

Her journey has taken her far beyond traditional education. Before her university studies, Siwan volunteered as a teacher at an underprivileged school in Accra, Ghana, where she witnessed first-hand the life-changing impact that encouragement, compassion and education can have on young people. During her studies, she researched alternative approaches to learning, including Steiner education, exploring how schools can better nurture children’s emotional wellbeing, creativity and confidence alongside academic success.

Following a further qualification with The British School of Meditation, Siwan began delivering mindfulness and meditation programmes across South Wales. She worked with primary schools, secondary schools, university students, workplaces and community groups, introducing practical techniques to support wellbeing, resilience and emotional health. Along the way, she was invited to share her work through BBC Radio Cymru, BBC Radio Wales and public speaking events, helping to raise awareness of the benefits of mindfulness for children, adults and educators alike.

In 2018, Siwan founded Cwmwl Clyd with one simple vision: to make high-quality, bilingual mindfulness resources that align with the Curriculum for Wales – making them easily accessible and classroom-ready for teachers across the country. Today, Cwmwl Clyd combines psychology, education and years of real-world experience to help teachers nurture calmer classrooms, build emotional resilience and give children lifelong wellbeing skills.

Alongside her work with Cwmwl Clyd, Siwan continues to work independently as a bilingual meditation teacher, offering meditation sessions in Welsh and English for adults, individuals and groups, both face-to-face and online. Her personal meditation work allows her to continue sharing the practice beyond the classroom, while her work with Cwmwl Clyd remains dedicated to supporting children, young people and the schools and educators who work with them.
